台湾旅行2日目

On the second day we checked out at 6:30 am.
My Taiwanese friends came to my hotel to see us. I didn’t know they came.
I met them at the hotel 3 years ago. We had breakfast together in Hokkaido.
Unfortunately we missed each other when we went to the front desk, as they had already left.
I called his mobile phone several times . I couldn’t reach them.
Our train to go to Yulin station is at 7:24.
Our reserved seats were separated. I negotiated to exchange the seat and I made a succeesfully able to
sit down next to him.
It was good, sunny day.
I arrived at Yuli station at 10:24. Ticket 600 Taipi is 2400 yen.
We drove as fast as we could to catch up with the steam locomotive by rent-a-car.
The car navigation spoke Japanese. However, we had to type the destination in Chinese.
There was no handwriting recognition. We were really disappointed.
We use Google Map to look for a route.
It was more convenient than car navigation.
Taiwanese people were very friendly. I asked the translation of ‘'car navigation” in Chinese. ‘'How do you say car navigation in Chinese?”
Somebody looked for a man who could speak Japanese to help me to solve the problem.
We took pictures of the train until sunset. We checked in at the B&B at 18:30.
The owner kindly took me to the night market by motherbike.
We followed him on bicycle.
I rode one for the first time in 15 years. I totally forgot how to ride a bicycle. I was scary at first but afterwards it was okay.
We ate ramen and a steamed bun with meat in it. They were good.
I returned at hotel at 21:00.
It was not so easy for me to deal with driving on the right, rather than the left.I especially I don’t like to turn to the left.
I was annoyed by the many motor bikes.
A lot of motor bikes annoyed me. It was a kind of challenging experience.
